"One language dies every two weeks, Joel. Isn't that the figure? Fifty-eight languages have only one speaker. It's horrific."

In Williams' play, four linguists from around the world meet in a Cardiff hotel in an attempt to save languages that are on the verge of extinction. As opposites attract and personalities intertwine, a comic drama unfolds that captures both heart and mind.

Roger Williams writes for theatre, radio and television. Credits include the BAFTA-nominated Tales from Pleasure Beach for BBC2, The Story of Tracy Beaker for BBC1 and Pobol y Cwm for S4C. He has written theatre plays for Made In Wales (Gulp), The Sherman (Saturday Night Forever) and The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (Y Byd (A'i Brawd)), and five radio plays for the BBC. He currently lives in Neath.
